Description

St Gregorios Public School, Yacharam, was established in the year 2014. St Gregorios Public School is a dream project of St Gregorios Balagram to provide quality education at affordable cost. 

The new school building, having approximately 55,000 square ft construction area, with 36 class rooms of 505 sq ft each and 14 other rooms like labs, library, office, multipurpose rooms for various programs as per CBSE specifications, is  operational since 2019. The building is in memoriam to Late Lamented Osthathios Thirumeni (Dr Geevarghese Mar Osthathios Memorial Building).

. The key differentiator of the school is to focus on Information Technology (IT), which has not yet made its effective presence in the remote village of Yacharam where most of the population are farmers. As part of this initiative, executives from various highly reputed IT firms, who are associated with us, will share their experiences, achievements, updates in their fields with the children of St Gregorios Public school frequently to motivate the children.

The school has been consistently achieving 100% results in the grade X exam.

Science and Math Olympiad Foundation conducts their exam for students in different classes of our school and provides them with certificates.

Our students participates in the Sports Events conducted by the School Games Federation. They participate in many sports events at the district level such as Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Athletics to mention a few and win prizes.

The school organizes several intra-school competitions throughout the year for music, elocution, quizzes, debates, drawing, and arts and crafts to encourage team spirit and confidence among students.

All the national and state-level festivals of importance in the academic year are celebrated with due respect and importance such as Telangana Day, Bathukamma, Independence Day, Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day, Republic Day, etc.
