OVERVIEW
St Gregorios Balagram, named after the patron saint St Gregorios of Parumala, is located at Yacharam village, 50 kilometres from Hyderabad, India, on the Nagarjuna Sagar Highway. Established in the year 1985, Balagram has been providing cost effective eye care to thousands of patients, has been taking care of elderly and poor citizens free of cost and continues to provide quality education at affordable cost to hundreds of children. The 38th Annual day of St.Gregorios Balagram, Yacharam was celebrated on 26th February 2023, on Garbho Sunday in the presence of H.G Dr. Yuhanon Mar Thevodoros, President, H.G Dr. Yuhanon Mar Chrysostomos, Secretary of Holy Synod & H.G Yakob Mar Elias, Vice-President, Mission Board and others.
H.G Late Lamented Dr. Geevarghese Mar Osthathios memorial speech was given by HG Yakob Mar Elias, Metropolitan. Smt. Mini Ipe, MD, LIC of India was the Chief Guest. The public meeting held after the HolyQurbana was a grand success in the presence of Members and Vicars of Hyderabad Cathedral church, Secundrabad Valia pally, St.Mary’s church, Ramachandrapuram, and St.George Church Jeedimetla.
