Mission
To provide quality education at affordable cost, resulting in the overall development of children enabling them to face the challenging world outside, leveraging on the latest Information technology advancements
. The key differentiator of the school is to focus on Information Technology (IT), which has not yet made its effective presence in the remote village of Yacharam where most of the population are farmers. As part of this initiative, executives from various highly reputed IT firms, who are associated with us, will share their experiences, achievements, updates in their fields with the children of St Gregorios Public school frequently to motivate the children.
Another unique initiative is to tie up with an educational satellite channel with versatile ICT enabled resource for students and have revolutionized classrooms through interactive IP based technology. This could be used to empower students as well as teachers successfully. The scheme is mainly intended to meet the demand for an interactive satellite-based distance education system for the country. It will be reflecting India’s commitments to use space technology for national developments, especially for the development of population in remote and rural villages.
This facility offers interactive virtual class room that enables the school students as well as the teachers to directly communicate with subject experts and educationalists. It also ensures the dissemination of high quality education to students and teachers from the original source. Ultimately, we focus on overall development of children and build a strong foundation, creating generations of confident citizens, fully prepared to face the challenging tasks in life.
The new school building, having approximately 55,000 square ft construction area, with 36 class rooms of 505 sq ft each and 14 other rooms like labs, library, office, multipurpose rooms for various programs as per CBSE specifications, is operational since 2019. The building is in memoriam to Late Lamented Osthathios Thirumeni (Dr Geevarghese Mar Osthathios Memorial Building).
